Local Surfer
Localism or territorialism is a part of the development of surf culture in which individuals or groups of surfers designate certain key surfing spots as their own. local surfers have been known to be violent when it comes to protecting their surf break from tourists or outside surfers. The "locals only" expression is common among many beach towns. This video was shot at my "break" since 1980.
Pay close attention to the first wave and the last wave in this video.... Its me ;-)
